Best Crosslisting Software For Online Resellers

Take online shopping, concerns for the environment, and a pandemic that kept people indoors for a prolonged period, and you get an explosion in the secondhand clothing market. While eBay used to dominate the secondhand market, new players in the game such as Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and many others have widened the playing field and turned everyday people into power sellers with their own businesses. If you’re just starting to resell clothing and hard goods online, then you’ll want to read this article that explains why crosslisting your items to multiple marketplaces is important and which crosslisting software could be the best tool for you.

Selling on multiple marketplaces makes a lot of sense because the more eyes on your products, the more likely they are to sell. Managing your reseller inventory across multiple platforms, however, is no easy task when done manually. The perfect crosslisting software will help you manage listing, relisting, inventory management, and analytics across all the marketplace you sell on.

Vendoo was one of the first crosslisting software products to enter the market and with a full staff dedicated to programming and customer service, they have more advanced features and live help when you need it most. Their signature features include:

  • Inventory management

  • The ability to import your existing inventory

  • Seamlessly crosspost to 9 different marketplaces

  • Refresh state listing with a bulk delist and relist feature

  • Remove sold listings from all markets with a click of a button

  • Improve your business with sales analytics

  • Create a competitive pricing strategy with SellHound

  • Live customer support

  • Tiered and flexible subscription prices with a  forever-free tier

  • A thriving and supportive social media community

  • And much more!

Vendoo is perfect for new and growing businesses because of its tiered pricing plan that allows newer and part-time users to have an affordable option for their stage of business. As your business grows, Vendoo can grow right along with you. They offer live online onboarding calls to help you get up and running easily. Finally, Vendoo is constantly listing to the reselling community and adding new features to help make running a reselling business easier and more profitable for sellers.

Vendoo Pros & Cons:

Vendoo has the most versatile grouping of plans and pricing which makes it a perfect fit for any sized reselling business. Images are stored by Vendoo and never lose quality when crossposting. The software works seamlessly without opening multiple tabs. The community of users often highlights fast and friendly customer service. At this time, Vendoo does not have a mobile app, although mobile options are in the works.

Other Crosslisting Softwares On The Market

List Perfectly

List Perfectly helps resellers crosslist their inventory to multiple platforms (10 at the time of writing this article). Their platforms include Poshmark, Tradesy, Shopify, eBay, Etsy, Grailed, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Kidizen, and Mercari. They have been around almost as long as Vendoo and are considered a robust crosslisting solution.

On the pro side, List Perfectly offers crosslisting, relisting, inventory management, and analytics. They have a simple pricing plan as far as having unlimited listing capabilities, but many of their more sought-after features are in the higher pricing tiers. The addition of Shopify allows users to list items to Instagram shops as well.

The cons of List Perfectly include the opening of multiple tabs to crosslist and relist, and a higher starting price point. On their lowest tier plan when you crosslist only the title and photos are carried over, you have to enter all the other data yourself.

OneShop is one of the newest crosslisting apps on the market. It is a mobile app that right now only works with Poshmark and Mercari. You can draft listings or import them.

On the pro side, you can send offers, delist sold items,  and relist items. They are available in the US and Canada right now and have a partnership with PhotoRoom to remove backgrounds from images.

On the con side, they only support two platforms at this time and the price is quite high for only having two platforms.

Resell Kit

Reseller Kit is a cross-listing app for eBay, Poshmark, and Depop. You pay for this service by purchasing credits instead of having a monthly subscription. You can try it for free with 50 free credits. The starting cost for 200 credits is $14, you will buy credits as you need them. For now, crosslisting to three platforms is their main feature.

The pros are that they have an app and you can pay as you go. The cons are very limited platforms and features at this time. They are beta-testing a feature that will automatically delist sold items which could become a great pro feature in the future. If you only sell on these three platforms then it is a viable option for you.

Seller Insight

Similar to Reseller Kit, Seller Insight is an app that helps you crosslist your inventory to a couple of platforms. At this time only Poshmark, eBay, and Mercari. They started as an app devoted to helping you up your Poshmark game. You get a real-time inventory dashboard, crosslisting and relisting to those three platforms, and it works on apple and android devices. There is a 14 day free trial and you can get a monthly subscription for $9.99 a month.

The pros for Seller Insights are that it is a lightweight tool for people that mainly use mobile devices and only sell on a few platforms. The price is very much in line with a tool that crosslists to three platforms. The cons of Seller Insight are the lack of diversity in platforms and extra features.

PrimeLister started out as a Poshmark automation tool but has since added crosslist features as a new and separate service using a chrome ext3ension. They have 6 marketplaces at this time; Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Etsy, and Depop. PrimeLister has two subscription plans that are $20.83 and $33.33 per month. You can also choose to pay annually for a discount.

As for pros, PrimeLister has 6 marketplaces and does have some automation tools on their pro plan such as schedule tasks and auto-relisting. The cons would be missing marketplaces and not including features like analytics.
