We analyzed hundreds of thousands of sales to deliver exclusive insights about the top-selling brands for Vendoo users year-to-date.
This data is derived from Vendoo users’ sold items via items both automatically detected and manually marked as sold.
These are the top-selling brands on popular peer-to-peer e-commerce marketplaces including: eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Etsy, Depop, Grailed, Vestiaire Collective, Kidizen, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace, and Shopify.

Vintage items hold a unique charm and nostalgia that modern pieces often can't replicate. These items span various decades, offering a glimpse into past fashion trends.
"Vintage" refers to brandless or less popular old brands that might not be recognized on the marketplaces. It isn’t a brand, but many sellers enter it in the brand field for this reason.
💡Tip: If an item isn’t vintage but looks like it is use the words “Vintage Look” and “Retro” in your tile and description. You want to avoid the word “inspired” as it is a trigger word for fakes and replicas.
What Brand Should I Use for Vintage Items?
If you’re selling a well-known brand like Levi’s, certainly list it that way. Only use “Vintage” when the brand is not popular or recognized on the band list in the marketplaces.
Some marketplaces do not recognize the brand “Vintage;” instead use “American Vintage.” Yes, we know that this is also the name of an actual brand sold at Revolve, but that’s a coincidence. Both Mercari and Depop have confirmed to use “American Vintage” for Vintage Items Made in the U.S.A. when the brand is not recognized.
